How to build Melbourne suburb pages that actually rank
Location pages work - when they are genuinely useful. Here is the difference between a page that ranks for years and fifty pages that get ignored.

Suburb pages have a bad reputation, and it is deserved. Most are the same paragraph with the suburb name swapped out fifty times. Google worked that out years ago. Done properly, though, location pages are still one of the highest-return assets a trade business can own.
One page, one suburb, one real reason to exist
A location page earns its ranking by being the most useful result for someone in that suburb. That means specifics: the housing stock, the common problems, the response time from your depot, the jobs you have actually completed nearby.
- Reference the real area - streets, landmarks, housing age, typical system types
- Include jobs completed nearby with photos where you have them
- State your genuine response time to that suburb
- Answer the questions specific to that area, not generic service copy
- Link to the service pages that matter most for those homes
Structure beats volume
A clean URL structure, one clear heading hierarchy per page and sensible internal links between service and location pages do more for rankings than doubling the page count. Build the map first, then fill it.
Do not orphan the pages
A location page with no internal links pointing at it is invisible. Link them from your service pages, your footer where it makes sense, and from related suburb pages, so authority flows through the site rather than pooling on the homepage.
